**Mattress pickups are transitioning from an every-other Tuesday schedule to a monthly schedule. Mattress pickups will now be once a month on Tuesday. The full schedule is posted below.**
Belmont is partnered with Green Mattress to provide curbside recycling of mattresses and box springs for residents. The mattress pickup schedule can be found below.
You can schedule a pickup and pay with the DPW by calling 617-993-2680 or using our online payment system before 4pm on Thursday. Pickups scheduled online will receive confirmation of the pickup date within 24 hours following payment confirmation. The fee is $50 per item. Payments made with credit card come with a 2.95% fee, and payments with E-check come with a 50 cent fee.

Mattresses of all sizes. Includes infant mattresses
Box springs of all sizes
Foam Mattress toppers
Unaccepted items include:
Air mattresses
Pet beds
Polyester Mattress Toppers (this is a textile)
How to dispose of unaccepted items:
Air mattresses and pet beds should be placed in the black trash cart with the lid closed or in maroon overflow trash bag if it will not fit in the cart with the lid closed.
