Belmont Center Zoning News

• Open House Postponed - The open house event planned for Aprtl the 17th has been postponed due to the remaining items that need to be worked out and refined with the zoning. Staff spoke to the consultant today and they understand the edits and clarifications that need to be made. We are looking to reschedule in May.
• Planning Board Public Hearing - The Planning Board is opening its Public Hearing Tuesday night (4/15) on zoning changes related to both Annual Town Meeting and possibly a Special in the fall. This will include a session on the proposed Floodplain By-Law and also kick off the hearing for the Center Zoning. The latter will be segmented by topic on a meeting by meeting basis so as to better organize for information sharing and targeted public input. Please attend the 4/15 meeting to get a first glippse of the proposed schedule and hear project updates. Expect the Center public heearing meetings to extend into the spring and summer. We will post links to recordings for later viewing.
